Yes it is written correctly - this page is dedicated for my little home monitoring (and perhaps in the future - automation) project.

Weather

Currently the weather conditions are monitored with La Crosse WS-2350 weather station. The weather station measures temperature, humidity, pressure, wind speed and direction and rain. The data is collected and published with Weather Display software.

Monitoring

Currently I have a 1-wire network collecting data from various places around the home. At the moment it is only monitoring temperature and humidity. But at the works is also electicity and oil consumption metering. Logtemp logs and publishes the 1-wire data.

Automation

At the moment I'm not planning any computer run home automation system, but it might change in the future. Our house is built in the 60's and currenlty the only bit of automation is the Ouman EH-800 central heating regulator. It measures the outside temperature and adjusts the temperature of the water in the radiators.
